Onion Casserole

 

 

6 large Vidalia onions

pound Swiss cheese, grated

1 can cream of chicken soup

2 Tablespoons soy sauce

3 slices bread, crust removed and quartered

 

 

         Slice onions. Brown in butter until soft. Put in a 9 x 12 casserole dish

 

         Make sauce of cream of chicken soup, milk, soy sauce, cheese. Heat until blended and pour over onions.

 

         Top with quartered bread slices which have been skillet fried in butter.

 

         Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.
