1985 Guild D-25 This was my first nice guitar. I bought it slightly used in 1987. I played it for about a year, put it down for a long time, played it about a year and then picked it up again in April of 2001. I have been playing as often as possible ever since. This Guitar has Grover Tuning Machines, a rosewood fretboard , a solid spruce top and solid mahogony back and sides. The D-25 was Guild's best selling guitar. I highly recommend them. They can be found on the used market in good shape for about $400.00 to $500.00. A great deal for a great American Made Guitar. Click Here for more pictures This guitar is my favorite guitar as well as Diana's. It has suffered a lot of dings and scratches and a couple of top cracks over the years. Fortunately, she still plays great and sounds fantastic. If I could only have one guitar, this would be it.
